In 2017 total 51,292 students registered for class 10th exams and out of which 49,375 students appeared for board exams. the overall pass percentage dipped by 59.31 % which was total 6.83 % lower than 2016 pass percentage which was 66.41 %. Out of the total pass percentage, total 14,822 boys passed the X class exams against 14,467 of girls.

The Tripura Board Madhyamik Board exams are generally organized in the month of March from the first to the fourth week. And the results of these exams are declared in June.
