KVS Admissions Eligibility 2019
The eligibility criteria for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019-20 is as follows:
- Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March 2019 in the academic year in which admissions sought for Class I (Child born on 1st April should also be considered).
- The Max age can be relaxed for a disabled candidate.
- There is no age restriction in age for a candidate applying for the class 8th.
- (ii) Different minimum and maximum age is required for admissions in different classes. They are:

KVS Admission Process 2019-20
We are giving step wise step process to fill Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2019.
Step-1 Registration
(i) Visit the official website at admission.kvs.gov.in
(ii) Click on “Apply Online” button located at the top-right corner of the screen
(iii) Instructions will be displayed on the screen which will help you in filling you KVS Admission Form 2019-20 . This section will contain General Instructions, Instruction to Fill the Form and Priorities in Admission. Please read them all carefully.
(iv) Click the “Proceed” button to go to Step-2.
Step-2 Registration Form: This section will entertain the filling of KVS Registration Form. In this section, select the Kendriya Vidyalaya in which you want to take admission. After that, fill in the complete form and click “Submit” button located at the bottom of the web page.
Step-3 Review Form Details: In this section, you can review or change information that you have entered wrong unintentionally. Changes can be made to the existing registration form till March, 2019 before 4:00 P.M.
Step-4 Acknowledgement: In this section, you admit that all the information you have provided in the KV Admission Form is all true and valid.
The Most Priorities in Admission
The KV Admissions will be granted following some rules and priorities. There are five categories, each having different admission priority level. They are:
Category I: Children of Central Government Employees
Category II: Children of employees of Autonomous Bodies operating under Central Government
Category III: Children of State Government Employees
Category IV: Children of employees of Autonomous Bodies operating under State Government
Category V: Self-Employed/ Private Job/ Floating Population
