Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) Dehradun Admissions July 2025 will be conducted through an admission test which is in December 2025. RIMC Dehradun is administered by the Director General of Military Training, Army Headquarters, Delhi.
RIMC aims to prepare boys for Defence Services and provide a quality all-round education to the young boys. RIMC is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). RIMC Dehradun Admissions are conducted on the basis of merit in RIMC Entrance Exam. Presently, the application forms are open and the last date is 15th October 2025 for July 2025 Term session (Expected).
RIMC Dehradun Admission Form 2025
RIMC Entrance Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 2nd Dec 2025 (Expected) at multiple test centres across the country. RIMC Dehradun Application Form will be available soon. The prospectus-cum-application form can be obtained from RIMS, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin 248003 through speed post by sending self addressed slip and an account payee bank demand draft of Rs. 600/- for General, Rs. 555/- for SC/ ST along with Caste Certificate.

RIMC Dehradun Application Form 2025
The application form for admission to Class VIII of Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun is distributed by the Admission Department by offline means only. You can avail your copy of the RIMC Dehradun Application Form by posting a self-addressed slip and a Demand Draft of Rs. 600 (Rs. 555 for SC/ ST Candidates) in favour of “The Commandant RIMC Dehradun” payable at Dehradun.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: RIMC Dehradun does not focus on the previous marks attained by the student. However, it focuses only on age of the admitting student. The student must be 11.5 to 13 years of age as on 01 January or 01 July 2025.
Education Qualification: Candidate should be studying in class VII or passed class VII at the time of admission i.e 1st July 2025.
RIMC Entrance Exam Syllabus
The syllabus of the RIMC Entrance Exam is a bit different from other entrance exams. It only focuses on the thinking capabilities of the boy student. RIMC Admission Process
RIMC Dehradun Entrance Exam 2025 will be conducted on 02 December 2025 at multiple test centres across the country. The mode of the entrance exam will be Pen+Paper only consisting the questions from the subjects like English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The qualifying students will have to go through an Interview Round in the presence of members of the Selection Board of RIMC. The schedule of the entrance exam is as follows:

Oral Interview/ Viva – The students who are high in merit in the Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun Entrance Exam are invited for an interaction round at the school campus. The interview is conducted by the Selection Board of Rashtriya Indian Military College in the presence of the parents of the qualifying students. The interview carries 50 marks and the marks obtained will affect the overall rank of the student in the admission process. Presently, the applications are open
Medical Examination – After the interview, student have to report for a medical examination. The examination is performed by professionals of the Military and the student is checked for any contagious disease and overall fitness is also measured.

RIMC Answer Key
The RIMC Entrance Exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of January and June respectively. The answer keys of both the entrance exams are made available soon after the test is over.
