Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior Colleges applications are invited for those students who wish to take up admissions in AP State residential college after 10th / SSC Examinations. APRJC Eligibility Criteria

Students who are interested in applying for AP Residential Junior Colleges are required to adhere to the eligibility criteria before applying:

• The candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh and study only at the Andhra Pradesh.
• The candidate should have passed SSC Examination, on the first attempt in March 2024. Those who passed earlier years are not eligible for the exam.
• Unreserved/ OC category candidate Should have a minimum 6 GPA in SSC Examination.
• Whereas, BC/SC/ST Category candidate should have 5 GPA points in SSC Examination.
• GPA points for both the category for subject English is 4.

APRJC Online Application Form 2024

The Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions (APREIS) release APRJC CET Notification for APRJC Common Entrance Test in M.P.C, Bi.P.C, C.E.C/ M.E.C, E.E.T and C.G.D.T in the month of March. Students who are eligible to apply for APRJC Entrance Exam can apply within the stipulated time as specified in the notification. Since for such entrance exams, late registrations are not accepted under any circumstances.  

APRJC CET Apply Online?

Students who are eligible for Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior Colleges entrance exam are required to fill up the APRJC Application Form as per these given steps.

• “The candidate has to prefer either APR Junior Colleges or MJPAPBCWR Junior Colleges as preference number 1. Preference will be given to the number 1, sliding between APR Junior Colleges and MJPAPBCWR Junior Colleges will not be entertained.
• So candidates are advised to choose the colleges carefully before filling the application.
• The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria shall pay a fee of Rs.250.00 through online from 2nd week of March 2024.
• For Online process, the candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e. Name of the candidate, Date of birth and mobile phone number).
• On payment of fee, the candidate shall be issued a Journal Number with which she/he can proceed with submission of application through online through the website aprjdc.apcfss.in.

Note: Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.

• Before submission of the Online application form, the candidate has to fill up the Model Application form.
• The candidates need to follow the procedure for submission of online application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and also as per the instructions provided online while filling up the online application form.
• The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size 3.5 X 4.5 cms before filling in on-line application. The Photo should be scanned and uploaded along with the application form.
• While filling the online application, the candidate has to opt the course. Once a course is opted, that cannot be changed.
• On submission of Application ONLINE, the candidate has to take print of application form in which a reference number also be given. This Reference number is required to download the Hall Ticket. The copy of online application is to be preserved for further reference.
• In case if there is any mistakes/incorrect information, the candidate is responsible for that. Hence, they must take care while filling the online application.
• The Applications of the ineligible candidates will be rejected summarily
• The selected Candidate should be able to produce the original certificates at the time of admission as a proof to the information furnished in the application.
• The selection of the candidate will be summarily rejected if they fail to submit the necessary documents at the time of admission.

APRJC Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of AP residential junior Colleges entrance exam is more or likely the same as other competitive exams.

• The test is of objective type with 2 ½ hrs duration for 150 marks (50 marks for each subject).
• An OMR sheet will be available under which candidate need to mark their answer.
• The question paper of APRJC CET will be based on class 10th in AP state syllabus for subjects and English will be general English.
• Total duration is 2 ½ hours.

• The question paper or APRJC Exam Pattern will consist of 3 section, these three sections will vary from stream to stream for which you are opting.

Reservation Details

Criteria for allotment of seats under special reservation category:

The seats under special category in MPC, BPC, MEC/CEC will be given on the basis of common merit list of Children of Armed Personnel, PHC and Sports categories against OC.

• For PHC category, seats will be allotted on the basis of merit the entrance test among the PHC candidates. Minimum disability is 40%.
• For Sports category, seats will be allotted based on the merit in the entrance test among the sports category.
• For CAP( Children of Armed Personnel) category, the parent of the candidate must be an ex-service or presently in defence service. The seats will be allotted based on the merit in the entrance test. NCC candidates are not eligible under CAP category.

Issue of Hall Ticket

• Candidates are able to download their hall tickets from the official website from 1st week of May 2024 with the help of reference ID allotted to them.
• Candidates need to download the hall tickets from the official website only. No printed hall ticket will be issued or posted to the candidate.
• No request will be entertained for issue of duplicate hall ticket.
• Without hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination.

Selection of Students

• The selection of student will be made on the merit in the common entrance examination, reservation, special category and the local area.
• While selecting the students for MEC and CEC Group, combined rank will be given to the candidates opted to MEC and CEC.
• In case if the candidate opted to MEC is not selected for MEC, his/her candidature shall be considered for CEC also.
• In case if there is a tie among the candidates with the same marks in the entrance test, the order of the merit will be decided as follows:

1. The higher marks secured by the candidate in Mathematics for MPC/EET, Biological Science for BPC/CGDT and Social Studies for MEC/CEC will be considered.
2. If still the tie persists, the higher marks secured by the candidate in Physical Science for MPC/EET and for BPC/CGDT, Mathematics for MEC/CEC will be considered.

• If still the tie persists, it will be decided by taking advanced age as criteria.

1. If there is a tie between male and female candidates, then female candidate shall be given higher rank.
2. If still the tie persists, candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be given a higher rank: a) ST b) SC c) BC-(A) d) BC-(B) e) BC-(C) f) BC-(D) g) BC (E) h) OC i) EBC
3. The information furnished in application by the candidate will only be considered and registered and if any candidate fails to fill the complete information or given wrong information, the fault lies with the candidate only.

APRJC CET Result

The APRJC exam result will be announced in the month of May or June. The exam conducting authority, APREIS will make APRJC Exam Result announcement officially. And students who are selected here will be called for Counselling rounds.

APRJC Counselling Date

The APRJC Counselling will begin in the first week of July. Only those students will be called for counselling process who have qualified the APRJC CET exam. APRJC CET Counselling would be done in multiple rounds, like after the first round of counselling if seats remain vacant then the second round of counselling will be held.

Note:

The admission will be made through the counselling. First counselling for admission will be placed after June 2024.
