The release was a bit delayed as there was a strike among the Tamil Nadu of the teachers as there were some issues. The board had also released the reports for the TN 10th Class Result that said that in the last year. 9,50,397 students had registered. Out of these 8,91,945 students had finally passed the exams. The girls have outscored the boys as they had recorded 99.17 as their pass percentage in the DGE 10th results last year.
TN SSLC Results overall pass percentage of the students of Tamilnadu was 94.5%. The result had increased by 0.1% when compared to the result of 2017. The main subjects like science and maths had 98.47% & 96.18% result respectively.
