Yadavindra Public School Admission Process

• Admissions are open in Yadavindra Public School from the month of March to April for different classes. The number of admissions allowed in a class is subject to a number of vacant seats available at that time. YPS Mohali Admissions are made on the basis of merit in the admission test conducted at the school itself.
• The admission test is designed to test the thinking ability, logical reasoning and academic knowledge of the candidate. It is conducted annually in the month of March for Class Nursery – 9th and in April for Class 11th.
• The qualifying students are invited for an interview session. This year the session is scheduled on April 2024 at the school.
• The final list of selected students is published on the notice board of the school. The selected students are informed by telephone and email given at the time of registration.

1. Agreement on green colored paper (Attached in the prospectus) to be affixed with Non- Judicial stamps worth Rs. 25 and attested by public notary, Mohali only.
2. A transfer certificate reflecting the date up to which the child studied in the class prior to the class to which admission is sought, from the last school attended, will have to be furnished before depositing fee. (Not applicable to students applying for Nursery, LKG and UKG)

Nursery

For nursery admission there is not entrance test. Students for nursery class will be selected by draw. The date of draw will be notified to the parents.

Class LKG to IX

Admission for the classes LKG to IX is based on the number of vacancies in every class. Students and parents must check the last date of registration from the Admission office.

Boarding House

Yadavindra Public School provides boarding facility only for boys. Students once admitted in boarding house will not be considered for change to day board. Admission to the boarding house is based on vacancies.
