Maths Talent Search Examination (MTSE) 2018- गणित प्रतिभा खोज परीक्षा: MTSE is organized by Indian Institute for Studies in Mathematics (IISMA). IISMA conducts MTSE every year usually in the month of January. MTSE aims to look for the Mathematical talent in young and to honour and inspire the talented young by awarding prizes. The dates for MTSE 2018 has not been announced yet but will tentatively be held in the month of January, 2018. Students who are willing to appear for MTSE 2018 can check details on MTSE 2018 Application Form, eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern and prizes.
MTSE 2018 Application Form
The application form of MTSE is distributed in the month of October every year by online means only. MTSE 2018 Application Form will be available at the official website of IISMA. The application forms for MTSE 2018 are not available yet but you can apply online when they are available by following these steps:
- Visit the website of the authority at www.iisma.com.
- Select the “Register” tab from the navigation bar of the website.
- Select “MTSE 2018” and click on “Fill Application Form” button.
- Duly fill the MTSE Application Form and press “Submit” button at the bottom of the registration page.
Application Fee: A nominal fee of Rs. 250 will be charged to the students for this examination. Additionally, mock test papers and MTSE preparation books are available for Rs 50 and Rs 200 respectively on the IISMA website.
IISMA MTSE Eligibility Criteria
MTSE Eligibility Criteria aims to provide ample opportunity to each student to understand the concepts of Mathematics. The eligibility criteria for MTSE 2018 is as follows:
- Any student studying in Class III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII or IX under any educational board is eligible for Maths Talent Search Examination 2018.
Maths Talent Search Exam (MTSE) Syllabus
The syllabus for Maths Talent Search Examination (MTSE) is similar to curriculum followed in CBSE, ICSE or State Board schools. You can find detailed syllabus here.
MTSE Exam Pattern
MTSE is pen paper test which will be conducted offline. The question paper will contain a total of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). These questions are to be answered in 90 minutes, on an Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet.

MTSE 2018 Hall Ticket
The admit card of Maths Talent Search Examination are delivered to the respective schools of the students 10 days prior to the examination. Please contact the authorities if you fail to receive your MTSE 2018 Admit Card.
IISMA MTSE Prizes
As we know that all candidates who have selected in IISMA MTSE 2017, they can check IISMA MTSE Merit List for session 2017 they will be eligible for rewards. IISMA aims not only to identify but also inspire and reward the talented young by awarding prizes. Prizes worth Rs. 3,50,000 are awarded every year. Rank wise prize distribution is listed below:
