OASIS Scholarship 2024-25: OASIS Scholarship is a form of financial help based scholarship that is extended by the Backward Class Welfare Department of West Bengal. This is both a pre-matric and post-matric scholarship. In WB Oasis Scholarship, the pre-matric scholarship is offered only to SC & ST and the post-matric scholarship is for SC, ST & OBC candidates.

The scholarship is offered only to those children whose parents have the annual income lower than Rs. 2,00,000 per annum. OASIS Scholarship Eligibility (Pre-Matric & Post Matric)

The eligibility criteria set by the government of West Bengal has the following conditions:

• The student applying for the pre-matric oasis scholarship must be studying in 9th or 10th class to obtain the scholarship.
• The student who applies for the post-matric oasis scholarship must pass the matric (10th class) examinations.
• The minimum percentage to obtain these scholarships is at least 50% in the previous examination.
• Students must have their adequate Caste certificate.
• The parents of the child must have an annual income of less than Rs. 2,00,000/-.
• There will be a reservation of 30% in the Scholarship for female candidates only.

OASIS Scholarship 2024 Required Documents

Candidates finalized for the scholarship, they required to submit below given documents.

1. Income certificate of candidate’s parents.
2. The caste certificate of the candidate.
3. Address proof of the parents and the candidate.
4. A most recent photograph.
5. All the mark sheets of previous examinations with the required percentage (50%).

Note: All the above-written documents must be attested by a person who is currently working on a rank not below Tehsildar.
