NCERT Scholarship Exams
The NCERT aims to find talented youngsters and financially assist them sufficient enough so that they can complete their school education with ease. The NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination and NMMS stands for National Merit Cum Means Scholarship.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)
The NTSE is a scholarship exam which aims to find and nurture the talent of young students in Science. NTSE is annually conducted at thousands of schools spread across the country. The CBSE students of Class X are eligible for this scholarship exam. Yearly, around 1,000 scholarships are rewarded by NCERT under the name of NTSE. National Merit Cum Means Scholarship (NMMS)
The NCERT hosts one more very reputed scholarship exam in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) which is NMMS. This is also a scholarship exam but with a different aim. NMMS aims to find meritorious students among economically weaker sections and help them grow their wings and become what they want to.
