Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award Eligibility
• Age Limit – The age of the appearing student must not be more than 17 years as of 01 August for IGNITE Award 2024.
• Ideas/ Innovations – The ideas/ innovation should focus on solving problems that are faced by a group of people. The solutions to problems on an individual level will not be considered for Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award 2024.

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award 2024
The Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award 2024 will be offered to the students with original and creative technological ideas and innovations that solve the day-to-day life problems faced by many people be it any problem. Students are advised to look around and perceive the problems that other people are facing and find a solution for it.

One or more ideas are also welcomed by the foundation. The application form for this award is available online at the official website of the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) till 31 August 2024. If you have an idea that can solve the problem of millions of people you can submit your application along with your technological idea/ innovation by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of NIF at www.nif.org.in.
- Select the “Awards” category from the navigation bar at the top of the homepage.
- Now click on the “IGNITE Award 2024” link in the drop down menu.
- Then click on the “Submit An Idea” link at the top right corner of the webpage.
- Enter the basic details along with your idea in the respective fields.
- Hit the “Submit” button when completed filling the form.

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award Function
The IGNITE Awards Ceremony will be held in mid October 2024 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The selected students will be invited for IGNITE Award distribution via registered email only. Also, an exhibition of the selected ideas will be organized at a national level after the award distribution. In case of deserving ideas/ innovations, patents will be filed in their names at cost and proper assistance and guidance will be provided by professionals to put the submitted idea into action.
