IEO Syllabus 2019 – SOF IEO Class 1 to 12 Syllabus Pdf/ Exam Pattern

IEO Syllabus 2019: English is a language that is one most widely accepted in the world. Still, it is quite a dis achievement of our Indian Education. That is the part of English our students lack a lot. This is rather not good for the futures and the careers of the students.

Latest Update: SOF IEO exam will conduct on 15th October and 5th November 2019. Admit card will release soon.

This is the primary motive of the SOF IEO. It is an annual written examination that makes the students learn the language. By putting them in a competitive position. Around 90,000 students from all over India participate in the IEO Exam Syllabus 2019.

SOF IEO Syllabus 2019 Class 1 to 12 

The authorities of the examination have set their own pattern for the examination. Following is the IEO Syllabus from class (1st to XIIth).

Search for and retrieve information from various text types like Stories, Anecdotes, etc. Understand information through pictures, Time-table format, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in short texts like messages, Invitations, etc.

Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions like apology, greeting, introduction, request, etc.

Class-4

Collocations, Spellings, Gender, Singular-Plural, One word Substitution, Synonyms, Antonyms, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Contractions, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Punctuations and Jumbled words, Basic Questions, Question Tags, Proverbs, Idioms, etc.

Search for and retrieve information from various text types like News headlines, Brochures, Formal and Informal letters, Itinerary, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in Short narratives, Time-tables, News stories, Diary entry, Poster Making, Messages etc.

Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions like agreement and disagreement, Requests, Refusals, Apologies, etc.

Spellings, Collocations and Words related to Travel, Locations, Activities, Homonyms and Homophones, etc. Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies and Spellings, One word, Phrasal Verbs and Idioms, Modals, Word order, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Punctuation, Tenses, Voices and Narration, etc.

Search for and retrieve information from various text types like News stories, Brochures, Formal and informal letters and advertisements. Understand information given in news reports, Brochures, Itinerary, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in short narratives, Biographies, Notices and Messages etc.

Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions like requesting and refusing, Apologies and stating of preferences and expression of intent, etc.

Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions like requesting, Giving information, Expressing surprise, Pronunciation etc.

Note: The section 2 and section 3 will be just the same for all the classes but the difficulty level may vary.
