Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPhO) 2024: The INPhO exam is conducted by the Indian Association Of Physics Teachers (IAPT). This exam is conducted on the last Sunday of January or the first Sunday of February.

INPhO 2024 Exam Dates

The medium of the INPhO exam is the bilingual i.e. student can opt for any of the languages which they want i.e. English or Hindi. As per the previous record, the exam for INPhO 2024 is conducted in the midweek of Feb or March. We will provide you with the date of INPhO after it will release officially on the official site.

Eligibility Criteria For INPhO Exam

There are some of the eligibility criteria for applying the INPhO exam. Candidates make sure that they full-fill the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria for INPhO is as follows.

• Not commenced studies in university or institution before 1st June
• candidates must be capable to hold the Indian passport.
• The candidate must not appear in NSEJS 2024.
• It is necessary for the candidate that it must be the resident of India and also he/ she studies in India since Nov 30, 2021 and not completed the 12th board examination earlier than the same date.
• DOB of the candidate should be in between 1 July 2004 and 30 June 2009 (both days are included).

Fee For Enrollment

Those candidates who will apply for the exam must need to pay the fees of the amount of Rs. 150/-. The fee is charged per student with the per subject. The fee will be paid at the NSE registration center.

How To Do Enrollment in INPhO Exam

Those candidates who don’t know how to enroll for the exam they can follow the steps given below. We are providing here the simple steps from which candidates can complete the whole enrollment process. The steps are as follows:

• Visit the official site i.e. hbcse.tifr.res.in
• Click on olympiad option. Majorly it is available at the top.
• Then click on upcoming events.
• Enter the details such as NSE center code, roll number, DOB to enroll in INO.
• At the time of registration, students need to choose their examination center.

Procedure For Selection In Physics Stage II (INPhO 2024)

• The students batch is divided into two groups i.e. Group- A & Group- B. For Group A, students must be in class XII as from November 30, 2022 will come while in Under Group B, students who are in class XI or lower will come as from November 30, 2022.
• Separately Merit Index (MI) and Minimum Admissible Score (MAS) will be calculated for each group.
• The question paper of NSEP 2023 and INPhO 2024 will be the same for two groups.
• Total number of 250 students will be selected from each group for stage II of INPhO and therefore total 500 students will be selected.

INPhO Admit Card

The admit card of the physics exam of INPhO will be available through the online mode. All the eligible candidate are able to download the admit card of INPhO from the official site before a few dates of the exam.

INPHO 2024 Result

The result of the INPHO will be available online on the official website of HBCSE i.e. secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/ino/. All the candidate are able to download their result by filling the details like NSE roll Number, DOB, and the verification code.
