NSE 2019 – National Standard Examination

National Standard Examination (NSE): NSE is a series of competitive examinations organized by Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). It has been conducting different Olympiads at regional and national levels in the name of National Standard Examination (NSE 2019), which act as a gateway to India National Olympiads (INOs) and International Science Olympiads (IOs). NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, and NSEA and NSEJS are the most Popular Among them.

IAPT was established in the year 1984. IAPT aims to upgrade the quality of Physics teaching and teachers in India.

NSEs are conducted in the subjects of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Junior Science at multiple test centers across the country every year in the 3rd or 4th Sunday of November.

The proper Examination Schedule is Given below. Before that Let me explain you the Process and NSE’s Subject Based Examination and their Details.

NSE Examination will be Conducted for all the subjects separately As Shown Below.

For Chemistry National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC)
For Physics National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP)

From Above NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, and NSEA are being conducted for CBSE Class 12th while NSEJS is Being Conducted on class 10th Level. These NSE Exams are the first and the only step to reach at the International Olympiads in the respective subjects.

NSE 2019 Exam Schedule

Exam schedule of NSEs in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Junior Science is given below. All Examination will be Conducted on 2nd, 3rd or 4th Sunday of November. More Details are provided below.

National Standard Examination Schedule:

First stage Examination Date, Time and Venue of Examination
National Standard Examination in Astronomy (NSEA)

November 3rd/ 4th Sunday 14:00 – 16:00 hrs

at Respective NSE registration center

National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB)

November 3rd/ 4th Sunday 14:00 – 16:00 hrs

at Respective NSE registration center

National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC)

November 3rd/ 4th Sunday 11:00 – 13:00 hrs

Respective NSE registration center

National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) November 2nd/ 3rd Sunday, 10:00 – 12:00 hrs KV or JNV nearest to your NSE center or some other designated center.
National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS)

November 2nd/ 3rd Sunday, 08:30 – 10:30 hrs Respective NSE registration center

 

 Procedure After National Standard Examination?

NSEs is the first step to reach at INO or IOs. You need to Register yourself and then you have to qualify the respective examination to move toward the next stage which is INO itself. Stage 1 NSEs are conducted by IAPT and remaining all are conducted by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).
