National Standard Examination in Chemistry 2025 2026– NSEC is organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). IAPT conducts NSEC every year in the month of November (But This Year Delayed Due To Covid-19) at multiple test centers across the country.

NSEC 2025 Application Form
The application form of NSEC is available throughout the month of September (But This Year Delayed Due To Coronavirus) every year. NSEC 2025 Application Form is distributed by online/ Offline means only. The application form of NSEC 2025 will be available at respective NSE Centres for the above specified time period. To get your own copy of the NSEC Application Form, please follow the steps given below:
Step I: Locate the nearest NSE Centre: First, you will have to locate the nearest NSE Centre. IAPT has established over one thousand centres across the country over the past few years. A PDF file containing the name, address and contact number of each centre is given here.
Step II: Filling the NSEC Application Form: After locating an NSE Centre, you can collect the NSEC 2025 Application Form from the Centre Coordinator and submit it back after filling the application form.

NSEC 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The student has to himself re-assure that he fulfills each criterion of NSEC Eligibility Criteria. At any stage if the student is found to be not eligible, he/she will be immediately disqualified from the NSEC 2025. The eligibility criteria for NSEC 2025 is as follows:
- Must be eligible to hold an Indian passport.
- Date of birth between 1st July 2005 and June 30, 2010 both days inclusive.
- Must be residing and studying in India since November 30, 2022 or earlier OR must be studying in an Indian school system since November 30, 2022 or earlier OR must be studying in an Indian school system since November 30, 2022 or earlier.
- Must not have passed (or scheduled to complete) class XII board examination or equivalent earlier than November 30, 2024.
- Must not be appearing for any NSEJS 2024.
- Must not have commenced (or planning to commence) studies in a university or equivalent institution by June 1, 2025.

NSE Chemistry Syllabus
The syllabus for National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC) is the same as the curriculum of senior secondary level of CBSE, ICSE, State Board or any other equivalent board affiliated schools. However, only the basic guidelines of the course are mentioned. No specific NSEC syllabus has been released by the authority.

NSEC Exam Pattern
There is no fixed exam pattern for NSEC 2025. The NSEC Question Paper will cover topics that you have already studied in Class XI and XII. NSEC Exam Pattern as of November is as follows:
