JBNSTS Syllabus 2025: The Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Exam will be conducted in August 2025 at multiple centres across the state of West Bengal. The students who have applied for the JBNSTS Junior/ Senior Scholarship Test are now looking for JBNSTS Syllabus for the written test (first phase).
However, the syllabus of the JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Test is based on the 10th standard syllabus and the JBNSTS Senior Scholarship Test is based on the 12th standard syllabus.

JBNSTS Junior Syllabus 2025
- JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Test Syllabus: The syllabus of the JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Test is similar to the curriculum followed at Class 10th of any government recognized schools. NCERT Textbooks are advised to be referred to while preparing for JBNSTS 2025.
- JBNSTS Senior Scholarship Test Syllabus: The curriculum prescribed at Class 12th of the schools in West Bengal is advised to be followed while preparing for the JBNSTS Senior Scholarship.

JBNSTS Scholarship Test Pattern 2025
The JBNSTS Junior/ Senior Scholarship Test is scheduled to be conducted in August 2020. The exam/ test patterns for both the groups are given in tables below:
- JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Test Pattern: The scholarship test for juniors will be of 2 Hours in duration consisting of 90 marks in total. The test will be held from 12:00 PM (Noon) to 02:00 PM at various centres on the exam day. Please find JBNSTS Exam Pattern for Junior Group in more detail below:
JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Test 2025: Duration 2 Hrs S.No. Subject Marks 1 Physical Science 30 2 Life Science 30 3 Mathematics 30 Total 90 - JBNSTS Senior Scholarship Test Pattern: The duration of the scholarship for seniors will be 3 Hours in total consisting of two sections of 80 and 20 marks respectively. The question paper of the JBNSTS Scholarship Test will contain different questions for different groups (junior/ senior). The JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Question Paper will match the level of school prescribed books for Class X. Similarly, JBNSTS Senior Scholarship Question Paper will contain questions of Class XII level books prescribed in schools of West Bengal. JBNSTS Result 2025
The result of the JBNSTS Junior/ Senior Scholarship Test will be published on the official website, www.jbnsts.org. JBNSTS Result is expected to be released in the month of September 2025 that is after 4-5 weeks of the JBNSTS Exam. The selected students will be invited for an Interview Round after the declaration of the JBNSTS Scholarship Test Result. We will provide you with the JBNSTS Interview Schedule when it has been released.
