The Ministry Of Human Resource Development has launched a centrally sponsored National Means- Cum- Merit Scholarship Scheme ( NMMSS). To fill total 1 lakh seats across India and out of these nearly half (4087) of the seats are allocated to Telangana State. Telangana NMMS Eligibility Criteria
Students who are applying for the Telangana NMMS Scholarship exam must go through Telangana NMMS Exam Eligibility Criteria that is given here.
- Candidate score must be 55 % in class VII examination and has been promoted for the academic session 2024-25
- For SC/ST candidate minimum percentage criteria is 50% or equivalent grade ( i.e, B+ grade for all categories)
- Candidate Guardian annual income should below than 1.5 lakh- (Income certificate signed by Mandal Revenue Officer as proof
) - Students studying in Government/ Zilla Parishad/ Municipal/ Private Schools, which have no residential facility are only eligible to appear for the examination.

- OC/ BC- Rs 100/-
- SC/ ST/ PH- Rs 50/-
- The application fee has to be paid through SBI Bank ( e-banking).

NMMS Telangana Syllabus 2024-25
Students who had applied successfully for TS NMMS Scholarship have to appear for the written test. Candidates have to solve questions comprising Social science, Mathematics of class VII and VIII through the TS NMMS Scholarship Exam Syllabus 2024.
Note: The weight of each question is 1 mark.
Minimum Qualifying Percentage
The minimum qualifying marks for General and reserved category students ( 40% and 35 % marks respectively)
Telangana NMMS Exam Pattern 2024-25
