In addition to that National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) is the knowledge partner. SJNSS examination is for secondary school students only. Shell Junior Scholarship Syllabus
The syllabus for Shell Junior National Science Scholarship is not different from other scholarship exams. There are no new topics to be studied for Shell Junior National Science Scholarship exam. The SJNSS syllabus is the same as prescribed by CBSE. Some of the common topics are written below:

Shell Junior Scholarship (SJNSS) Test Pattern
Shell Junior National Science Scholarship examination is usually conducted in the month of January every year. SJNSS will conduct an online test. The exam will have 60 objective type questions which will cover common topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The online test will be of 1 hour only with an additional subjective type question which will be used only in case of a tie. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer. The SJNSS Exam Pattern is shown below in tabular format:

NOTE: Calculator/ Mobile/ Technical Devices and other things like this are not allowed in the Shell Scholarship examination. If found guilty, student’s exam will be canceled immediately.
Shell Junior Scholarship Award Amount
The merit list is prepared on the basis of a scholarship exam.
- Top 3 students of each center are declared as Regional Winners. 18 Regional Winners will get a scholarship amount of Rs. 50,000/- each.
- Top 3 students of Shell Junior National Science Scholarship examination are declared as National Winners. National Winners will get a scholarship amount of Rs. 75,000/- each.
Please note that a student can win two prizes, the Shell Junior Regional Science Award and the Shell Junior National Science Award.
Shell Junior Scholarship Result
The result for Shell Junior National Science Scholarship is not yet published by the conducting authority. The SJNSS result is usually published in the first week of March every year. The Shell Scholarship 2018 result will be prepared on the basis of performance in the scholarship exam.
