UP Scholarship 2024-2025: The Samaj Kalyan Vibhag of Uttar Pradesh (UP) State provides a scholarship to the student who belongs to any of the Minority categories (SC/ST/OBC) under the name of UP Scholarship. In order to promote secondary/higher education, the State Government provides financial assistance to the needy & eligible students.
Uttar Pradesh Scholarships are administered and distributed with the help of Institutes located within the State. In the academic year, 2024-25 more than Lakh students were benefited from the Scholarship. Eligibility for Uttar Pradesh State Scholarship 2024
The eligibility criteria for Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Uttar Pradesh Scholarship 2024 is as shown below:
- The student must be native to Uttar Pradesh (UP).
- The applicant needs to score more than 50% marks in the last academic year.
- The student/student’s family must come under the Minorities (SC/ST/OBC) to be eligible for UP Scholarship.
Annual Income Limit: The table below shows category-wise maximum annual income to be eligible for Pre-Matric UP Scholarship:

UP Scholarship Application Forms are available on the official website. To apply for Uttar Pradesh Scholarship 2024 (for the academic year 2024-24), please follow the below steps carefully:
- Visit the UP Scholarship Portal at scholarship.up.nic.in.
- Click on the Students tab on the home page.
- Click on Registration to open the UP Scholarship Registration page.
- Select the category Fresh on the UP Scholarship 2024 Application Form page.
- Enter the asked details carefully (Name, Father’s Name, Address, etc.).
- Click Submit after filling up the details and download the UP Scholarship Application Form 2024 in PDF format.
