NCO Registration 2020-2021: National Cyber Olympiad is an acronym for NCO. NCO is organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). NCO is an international search competition that aims to find and nurture the cyber skills among young students.
NCO is a level-based examination held in the month of October every year. Through this exam, the young generation is inspired to enhance their knowledge related to computers and IT. NCO 2020-21 will focus on student’s Mental Ability, Logical & Analytical Reasoning in computers and IT. NCO Online Application 2020-21
The application process of SOF National Cyber Olympiad is entirely dependent on schools. This factor divides the NCO Application Process into two steps:
Step 1 – School Registration: In order to appear for NCO 2020, your school must be registered with the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). Your school will be responsible for all the communication required for the conduction of NCO exam. You can follow this step-by-step procedure to get your school registered with SOF.
- First, request a prospectus by sending an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also make a phone call to SOF office. The NCO Registration Form comes along with the prospectus.
- The school must return the registration form to SOF, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.
Step II – Register Yourself: Once the school has been registered, students willing to appear in NCO can inform the teacher coordinator. A nominal registration fee will be charged for the registration.

NCO 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for NCO is designed by the SOF. NCO Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must be studying in Class 12th or below.

NCO 2020 – 2021 Exam Pattern and Syllabus
NCO Exam Pattern in detail is given in the table below:

The National Cyber Olympiad is conducted at two levels.
Level 1: The first level of the NCO is conducted at the respective schools of the participants during the school hours.
(i) The Level 1 Exam will contain a total of 35 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for Class II to IV students and 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for Class V to Class XII students.
(ii) The NCO Question Paper will have three sections, Logical Reasoning, Computers & Information Technology and Achievers Section.
(iii) The medium of the exam will be English and there will be separate questions for each class.
(iv) CBSE/ ICSE syllabus will followed to set up the question paper.
Level 2: The second level of the NCO will be conducted for Class III to Class XII students. The students will be selected for second level exam on the following basis:
(i) Top 5% of students on the basis of marks scored will be selected class wise. Each section is accorded different priority.
(ii) Class wise Top 25 rank holders in their zone.

The National Cyber Olympiad is a state level talent search competition. NCO aims to select students to represent India globally in the field of Computers and IT. To motivate the participating students, following rewards are provided:

NCO Admit Card 2020-2021
The Science Olympiad Foundation will conduct the National Cyber Olympiad in November 2020. the aspirants are advised to download the Nationa Cyber Olympiad Admit Card 2020. The students who will fail to download the admit card on time will not be able to appear for the exam. They will be released one or two weeks before the examinations. The students will be able to check their center name, timing and details about the exam in the hall ticket.
